Is PINK the New Christmas Red?
November 10, 2023

It has come to my attention that an unlikely holiday color seems to have upstaged our traditional red and green this year. PINK has overtaken homes and closets everywhere. Perhaps inspired by throngs of Barbie fans, or maybe because the Pantone color of the year is Vivid Magenta.

At any rate, besides pulling out every red, green, plaid, and shiny thing you own this holiday season–you might want to grab some PINK, too.

Viva Magenta is a cross between pink and purple…vibrant, bold, and lively.

Who doesn’t love Barbie in pink?

Celebrities all seem to be wearing it.

And pink is a Real Trend in Christmas Decor.

From pale hues.

To bolder shades.

Shop your own closet to see if you can find some pink. Such a happy, feminine color.

Oops, did I say feminine?

What do YOU think about pink for Christmas?

Maybe just a little? (Pink brooch from Talbot’s.)

Let us know. We love hearing from you.

(By the way, we happen to LOVE pink!)

What luck! Yesterday I bought a pink top with a touch of sparkle in it to wear to a December wedding. I was a little hesitant about the color but now I can confidently wear it! Thank you!

    Lita,
I think PINK is a joyous color. And don’t we all need a little joy?
    Thanks for writing.
