If you love Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas, you are going to flip for THE FINDERY.
The Findery is located just one block from MM.
This chic retail market opened last November. It is housed in the historic Percy Medicine building at Eighth Street and Webster Avenue.
Visiting this architectural treasure is an experience unto itself. But step inside and there are a trove of delights waiting just beyond the door.
Manager Alison Sorley says, “The Findery offers market finds, antiques, and one-of-a-kind items at small-town prices.”
I’ll be quiet now with my typing and show some photos.
From ladies’ clothing, to children’s, to the now, very-trendy “Waco” t-shirts–choices abound at The Findery.
And gifts. Oh my. Selection is phenomenal. Birthdays, weddings, graduations–you name it. Gift certificates are available, allowing the lucky receivers to choose their own gift and also receive ‘The Findery’ experience.
The Findery carries handmade craftsman furniture and offers custom painting techniques. Furniture-painting classes will also be available soon.
If the square footage on the first floor isn’t enough for you, Alison says the store will be expanding upstairs in the near future. Wow.
Stepping inside The Findery is like entering into a delightful world of the whimsical, the eclectic, and the practical.
The Findery also carries a crazy, quirky assortment of t-towels with very unpredictable sayings.
If you know me, you know I love a great saying.
Alison, thanks for letting us explore THE FINDERY. It’s exactly what your sign declares:
“A marketplace for you, your home, and your style.”
Now that’s a great saying.
