It’s Wednesday. Time to share great ideas we’ve discovered.

1.  No more untucked bottoms! 

If you love wearing ankle boots with your pants tucked in, but hate it when the tops of your pants pull or bunch up, our friend Diane suggests pinning a band of wide elastic on the bottom of each leg. The pins are undetectable, but keep your pants smoothly tucked inside your booties. Great idea!

This works for cowboy boots, too.

2. Can’t keep track of your wire-back earrings?

I have more than a few pair of wire-back earrings. They are forever getting mismatched and lost. Solution: I found this decorative wire mesh apple at Tuesday Morning. It keeps all my earring visible and together. (This is idea comes from a previous blog.) I don’t think the apple was meant for earrings, but we can always think outside an apple!

3. How Clean is Your Watch?

My husband gave me a sonic jewelry cleaner  as a gift for Christmas. (The small one I’d had for years finally died.) If you haven’t seen the new ones in a while, they’re pretty sophisticated and they even come with a holder that you can place your watch on, to clean it. Wow, I couldn’t believe all the dirt. Take a look.

YIKES! I had no idea. But now that I think about it, I have worn my watch every single day–for years.

Of course you can also clean rings, earrings, and other jewelry and eyeglasses. Apparently you can even use it for dentures.  Ha.
