But—like animal print, which came ‘in’ several years ago, and never went ‘out’—some trends are here to stay. With holidays nearing, you may consider investing in some unexpected pieces that will instantly update your look.

Ruffle & Bow Blouses

I recently took a ruffled blouse on a trip to France. It turned out to be the most versatile garment in my suitcase.
It actually brought my outfit to a higher level, no matter what I wore it with.

Casual with jeans and a cardigan, or dressy with a velvet coat and slim black pants. This top just works, and will easily fit into any existing wardrobe.

Velvet Before Christmas

Remember when velvet was solely reserved for the holidays? No more. Colored velvet and burnout velvet are popping up everywhere. Velvet could become the new staple in your private collection.

Who knew velvet could be casual or dressy?

If you’d rather not commit to an entire  outfit, you can always opt for velvet accessories.

So pull out the ruffles, bows, and velvet this Autumn. Dressed UP or DOWN…wear it any way YOU like.
