Today I visited one of my favorite local boutiques. I came in search of a gift, but I found so much more. I discovered a trend I love and maybe you do, too. Temple’s Brickwood Boutique had an assortment of fall clothing. But it was the prints that caught my attention: polka dots and stripes. Who doesn’t love those?

Polka Dots make me so HAPPY! And stripes are very classic sporty. Don’t we all have some of these in our own closets?

I know Janna wrote about this pale blue/brown combination in Quintessential Style (page 58). But, I have never actually worn these two colors together, but the look is so sophisticated. Don’t you agree? I am going to try this. (Especially good for light brights who want to wear something autumnal.)
Yes, I know it’s not sweater weather in Texas yet, but we are all counting down. Can’t wait to feel the chill and cuddle up in one of these!
