Have You Heard? The Color of 2020 is…
February 18, 2020

I’m embarrassingly late with this information. But, if you haven’t already heard, the Pantone Color for 2020 is CLASSIC BLUE. And I happen to be crazy about it. The color lands somewhere between navy and royal.

Pantone has announced the 2020 Color of the Year is Classic Blue, a shade reminiscent of the sky at dusk. “It’s a color that anticipates what’s going to happen next,” says Laurie Pressman, the vice president of the Pantone Color Institute.

Again, I say, I don’t see how a color can be translated to mean so much. All I know is that I like it.

So get ready to see this color everywhere:

In dressing:

Blue ensemble from Halsbrook.com.

In paint color:

My sister-in-law painted her wall blue last year. She’s ahead of the trend!

In Tile:

In Accessories:

Classic Blue: calming, chic, and fun… It’s going to be a great year!

Love this color. I have variations of this color in my wardrobe and my home.

    Janet,
Just another testament to the idea: if you LOVE it, use it. No matter whether it is en vogue or not.
    Thanks for writing.
