I don’t have to tell you that 2020 has been a year like no other. There isn’t anyone in the wide world that has not been impacted in some way by the events that have transpired.
But, personally, there are a few images I hope I never see again.
Well, maybe there are some signs we can keep:
Wishing you a hope-filled year in 2021.
What are you NOT going to miss in the New Year?

Beverly,
I am so grateful for my readers. I rely on all of you to help inspire me. I don’t think any of my ideas are very original, but I do think we can all relate to them.
Merry Christmas.
Yes, 2020 has been a trying year indeed but we can still count our blessings and your blogs are definitely a blessing. Wishing you and your family a Happy, Blessed & Safe Christmas and 2021.
Lita,
Thank you for your kind words. I’m so glad we can share ideas with each other. And technology has truly been a blessing through all of this.
2020 has been one for the record books and I hope they burn them, Ha, Ha! I feel very blessed for all the wonderful things in my life including you. I won’t miss wearing masks, not being able to hug everyone, & limited family gatherings.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Amen, Shirley,
I miss the personal hug most of all.
Hoping for much better days in 2021.
Happy New Year!
I really don’t understand charging for service during a pandemic. My first thought is they are trying to pad the bill to make up for lost revenue. My second thought is $3 won’t even pay for a Covid test so what’s the $3 about anyway? Makes no since to me! But on a personal note, I’m glad you had fun with Sarah and Ryan. ❤️
Cindy,
I asked the server the very same thing, since this was new to me. She said that her business (and many others) had to provide face shields for all their employees and purchase plexiglass barriers for their registers, not to mention the masks and hand sanitizer they offer customers.
Truly, I don’t mind at all. If it will help folks stay in business, I will pay this gladly.
Thanks for writing.
I enjoy the great tips you share with us.
Maybe the 3% Covid-19 Service Fee is to help the service people at the restaurants. You might be surprised at the number of diners that do not leave a 20% tip and sometimes nothing. Just a thought
I sincerely hope the servers are reaping some benefits from this. And don’t mind contributing at all.
Merry Christmas.
I am ready to get rid of my mask basket by the door going out to the garage. I was telling David on Monday, that this would be a great year to be in the Plexiglass business. They are everywhere. I’m so hopeful that a vaccine will open up the world. Wishing you a very blessed Christmas and a healthy new year!
Yes, I bet the plexiglass business is booming.
Hoping for a brighter year in 2021, minus masks and distancing. Plus hugs, gatherings, and a little more normalcy.
