Do you know consummate style icon Iris Apfel? I’m sure you’ll recognize this fashionista by her signature round spectacles. She also happens to be 95-years amazing.  (Yes, you read that right–ninety-five.) Some of you might remember a blog I wrote on layering bracelets where I first introduced Iris–who combines color and accessories in such a masterful way, that it is as if she is creating an original work of art every single time she gets dressed.

Iris has been in the interior design and fashion industry for over seventy years. She knows a thing or two about color, textiles, fabric, and fit. Now amazing Iris has partnered with Macy’s to create a new fashion line–Iris Meets I.N.C. (International Concepts). The 40-piece collection ranges in price from $24.99 – $199.

I flipped when I heard that Iris’ fashions could be found at Macy’s. So on a recent trip to San Antonio with my girlfriends, our mission was clear: Off to River Center Mall…in search of Iris.

And guess what? WE FOUND HER…

…everywhere!

Each piece in her collection was tagged with her unmistakeable image.

We found basics and trendy pieces that you can mix and match. Black flare pants in a luxurious knit fabric and faux leather skirts that aren’t too short for those of us that want to look stylish yet appropriate.

Check out the fascinating 2014 documentary called Iris (available on Netflix). It is absolutely mesmerizing– a rare insight into the life of one of the most interesting women of our time.
